Description: This is a box that would have been used to put an item in that you purchase at this hotel. Could have been a necklace, bracelet or other jewelrey, ect. The El Rancho Vegas Hotel / Casino opened in 1941 and was the first Las Vegas Strip Hotel located on Hwy. 91. It closed after a spectacular fire on June 17, 1960. The fire toppled the famous windmill. This hotel never rebuilt and the property it was located on is still vacant today, except machinery on location with some deal with MGM in the works.
