The coin depicts the bust of the deposed King Farouk the first, wearing a fez, facing left. The reverse shows the denomination and has lotus flowers surrounding the words al-Mamlakah al-Mesryah (Kingdom of Egypt) and the date 1937 AD and 1356 AH. It is KM-366 and weighs 7 grams of 0.833 silver. It measures approximately 26 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the scan as it is part and parcel of our description. Date: 1937 AD - 1356 AH. Mint: Egypt. Size and weight: This is a five piastres, weighs 7 grams and is ~26 mm in diameter. References: It is KM #366. Condition: I would grade this coin as a nice about uncirculated or better with all the details being very well preserved and retaining some of its original mint luster with some toning along the edge. The coin is much better than the scan shows. It does have minor scratches and nicks and minimum wear, if any, commensurate with its age and circulated status.
