Description: On offer, we have an artist's proof by Edward Hagedorn. This is a fine line drawing of a female nude on a thick rich black background. It's either a linoleum cut or a wood cut. This has "Artist's Proof" written in pencil at the top and it is signed in the print "Hagedorn". On thick paper this measures 12 1/2" X 8" with the image 9" X 5 1/2". About the artist: Edward Hagedorn (1902-1982) was California artist best known for his mod-naive figures and nudes. This is an excellent example of his work. This is in excellent condition. The print is bright, bold, clean and clear. There is a pin hole at the top where this was once displayed. This has been handled and has a few light wrinkles.
