Description: Edward Curtis, The Master Prints, Arena Editions (2001) First edition. American photographer, filmmaker, and expert on Native American tribes Edward Sheriff Curtis produced exceptionally beautiful photographs for a 1906 exhibition Boston. The signed master prints were later donated to the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, MA. The beige cloth cover of this ex-library volume shows moderate signs of shelf-wear and age. It is lightly soiled, the spine imprint has faded, and a sticker is adhered to the lower spine. The front flyleaf has a cardholder, and the glue smudge can be seen on the back of that page (see pictures). The hinges are intact and the binding is tight and square. All interior pages are bright, clean and unmarked. All text and each of the 108 stunning photos are pristine. Your purchase helps support the Lexington Public Library (Lexington, KY).
