EDNA HIBEL ELUSIVE Serigraph Set Boy and Girl in Field S/N Ed 290 only 1 of 45

Description: I am always thrilled to offer an otherwise unavailable art work. Perhaps there is a set out there somewhere, but I cannot find one available anywhere else. Edna Hibel created this wonder set of endearing children as a grouping issue numbered edition 290. There was a larger individual work which featured both the Boy and the Girl together which was limited to a printing of 215 pieces. She also did this matched pair of individual serigraphs under the same edition number 290, featuring the same 2 children in seperate works. In this edition she only printed 45 of each Child. Rare to find either, but rarer still to find the matched set. Forget the value of the wonderful professional matting and combined gilt and stained wood framing along with sealed back paper. Although it would be a couple hundred to reproduce this fine framing, the true value is in the rarity of this limited edition from a very fine and highly collected artist. I am not aware of how many (if any) other intentionally matched sets Hibel completed, but I am very happy to be able to offer this pair.
