Description: Edward Vernon Rickenbacker [1890 1973] was an American fighter ace during World War I who was credited with 26 victories and awarded the Medal of Honor. Rickenbacker was a pioneer in aviation transportation and purchased Eastern Airlines in 1938 for 3.5 million dollars and served as Chairman of the Board. Listed for auction is the autograph of Edward Rickenbacker signed on a commemorative cover. The autograph is signed ''Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker'' in blue fountain pen. The cover is postmarked Oct 8, 1959, affixed with two U.S. postage stamps, measures 6.50 x 3.75 inches and in fine condition.
