Description: 1928 Ecuador 1 centavo. The obverse shows a coat of arms with a condor, its wings spread, on top of an oval shield, with flags on each side. Around the border is "REPUBLICA DEL ECUADOR", with the date at the bottom center, The reverse shows an open top wreath with the denomination of " 1 CENTAVO ", in the center. On the obverse, the piece shows some attractive natural toning, some with a green color from near the center toward the right, and lower right. The other surfaces show toned down red luster. The reverse shows some of the green color toning on the left side from about six o'clock to twelve o'clock, coming from the left edge. The other surfaces are mostly red and lustrous. The green tone is hard to see through a holder, and a bit hard to show in pictures , but shows when piece is out if the holder and moved in the light.
