Description: This listing is for one bud/pup. Will ship largest first! Spring and summer is when these cactus really take off. The second photo, taken September 19, 2024, shows some of the pups for sale now (the larger green ones), will ship largest first. By the end of next summer these can be the size of a tangerine if you give them plenty of space and sun! Check out the 3rd photo. One year earlier I planted one pup the same size as the ones for sale, into the blue, 12-inch-diameter bowl shown at top center. See how much it grew in one year? And the plant in the blue bowl on the left was planted 2 years ago, and bloomed all summer. I have shipped thousands of these cuties, to every state and in all seasons, including to Minnesota in the dead of winter. Never had a problem with them, including the time a buyer forgot to check her PO Box for a month and the plant was fine, just waiting in the box. These pups are beautiful and bright green with excellent roots. Unlike some other cactus pups listed on eBay that you may see, these are not hybrids AND these pups are not growing smashed together so that they are misshapen---they are bright emerald green, perfect, have gotten plenty of water, fertilizer, and love, and will be packed with care so they arrive perfect. Place yours in a warm sunny, south-facing window and it will grow well--including through the fall and winter, and then be ready to grow to the size of a mini pumpkin by the end of next summer! To grow, they like to be at about 69 degrees or warmer. When your night temps warm up over 45 you can keep it outside, or set it out on warm days and bring it in at night. With proper care it will grow large enough to bloom in about 2 years. These Echinopsis Easter Lily Cactus are native to areas in Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia. The original plant, about the size of a plum, was given to me in 1968. Since then I have carried it with me when I have moved to various cities, and it has grown and multiplied. My plants were even featured in the garden section of the Los Angeles Times a few years ago. I now have 10 large plants about 2 feet tall, and they keep growing! Your cactus can bloom when it is about the size of an orange, if you give it the right care, which mostly includes plenty of direct sunlight, and the right amount of water, and a little fertilizer. I will send you a care sheet so your plant can grow, bloom, and multiply like mine! With plenty of sun, these cactus plants will bloom from April into October. I bring my plants inside for the winter around mid-October, and keep them in a sunny window until around mid-May when I put them outside again. The plants grow very quickly from April to October and then slow down. Very easy to care for, and you can go on vacation for several weeks and not have to worry about them! NO EXTRA CHARGES TO SHIP ADDITIONAL PUPS! No matter how many pups you buy, from this listing and/or any other baby cactus listings I have, you will not pay more than $8.71!!! The first photo, as well as the last five photos, were taken on July 21, 2016. All my plants bloomed on the same day. I had 248 flowers on one day! The older they get, the more they bloom. They bloom off and on all season, but there are always one or two days when I get the most. Each flower is up to 5 inches across and up to 9 inches long!
