Th covered serving bowl measures approximately 7 1/4" in open diameter by 4 3/4" tall with the lid on. It weighs approximately 2 lbs. The bowl & lid have birds, pink thistles & butterflies on the exterior against a cream background. There is gold trim on the rim of the lid & its knob as well as on the foot of the bowl. The covered serving bowl is in good condition -no chips, cracks or crazing noted! There is wear to the gold on the lid & bowl. There is minor discoloration on the bottom base. A great addition We double box all fragile items to help withstand the stress of transport. The double boxing adds to the shipping weight and postal expense but we believe the added precaution in packing is a worthwhile investment to ensure safe arrival of your item.
