Jones as Register of the Treasury and Walter O. Woods as Treasurer of The United States. The cashier of this bank is D. Sherman Griffith and the President of the bank is M.D. Kittell. This bank chartered in 1897. The bank issued 75,756 small size Nationals, from 1929 thru July of 1935 when the note issuing period ended. Ebensburg was the home to two National Banks from the period of 1897 – 1935, both of these National Banks issued small size National Banknote currency. The note is dirty and well soiled on both sides. I do not see any rips or tears but the note has 3 small pinholes and some honest wear. I would grade this note as a Very Good Please look at the scans carefully and judge the grade and quality of this note for yourself. The Kelly Census shows 42 small size notes reported on this bank.
