Description: 8" by 12" color print of Eastern Airlines Lockheed L-1049C N6230C at DCA in June 1966. This Connie was delivered new to EA in February 1954 and was retired from the fleet in January 1967. It was one of the last C model Constellations delivered to EA. Like many Constellations it did not fly for any other airlines and was scrapped shortly after being retired. ****All prints are professionally scanned from slides unless noted otherwise, and printed on high quality FUJIFILM Lustre Finish Photo Paper. Imperfections, dirt, and dust from original image have been removed where possible, and color and fade correction made as needed. EBay image is a low resolution scan. Actual prints are sharper and have better color than eBay scans.
