Description: Eastern Airlines 1953 Ticket Stubs and Holder - That sure was a nice price - $26.57 - to fly the friendly skies...of course, it was 70 years ago. Based on inflation it probably costs just a little more these days (HA!). The Holder and the Passenger Ticket/Baggage Check are in very good, not great, condition. The Holder has wear and rounding at all corners, the front side top left-hand corner has an approx. 1/2" ding, the top right-hand corner has an approx. 1" crease, there is some color loss near the top plane (at its' tail and below it), there is a black scratch at the right-hand side between the two planes, the bottom left-hand corner has an approx. 1/8" crease, the bottom right-hand corner an approx. 3/4" crease, the inside left-side flap has some discoloration at the top and writing in pen at the right-hand side, the top left-hand corner has the 1" crease and 3/4" crease at the right-hand side; the insert right-side flap has an approx. 1/4" crease at the top right-hand corner. The Passenger Ticket/Baggage Check has some wear and rounding at the right-hand corners, the front side top right-hand edge has some tearing, color loss and discoloration (rust from a paper clip?) which can also be seen on the inside portion; the back side appears to have some printer's ink at the left-hand side.
