This version is labeled 1977, but these were produced from 1977-79. This version was printed in Italy and depicts a young Magic in his Michigan State college uniform. The card has been signed in bold, blue sharpie, and this oversized card (4 3/4" x 6 1/4") has been authenticated and slabbed by the experts at PSA. This is arguably Magic's "true" Rookie Card, and is far more difficult to find than the 1980 Topps card that also features Larry Bird and Julius Erving.
