Description: Very nice early US Cartridge box w US plate. This example was a very early reenactor or repro. Produced and retailed by Navy Arms in the 1960s. Navy arms a historic american weapons company & dealer started in 1957. This is one of the earliest piece by them on the market. Finding early navy arms items is very rare. This piece is very quality made all parts are US made including the buckle and the leather cartridge pouch itself. It even has brass buckles on it to be authentic to period. Interior trays arent present but i suspect thats how it was purchased. This makes a great display or a true to period reenactor piece. This isnt like the garbage sold today. Does have some age and wear, 1 minor hole in the leather and some staples in the back probably to hold it in a display or something like that. Has a lovely old leather scent. Not a period original but as close a repro as you can get. Impossible to find another 1960s example of this piece.... i looked. Dont miss out, check out all my militaria & collectibles!
