Description: Early 1999 Re-issue of the WWII Hanhart Pioneer TachyTele Chronograph Out of my own collection comes this Hanhart TachyTele Chronograph. Re-issued by Hanhart in the late 90's this watch was inspired by the famous 1939 WWII Pilot watch with both a Telemeter to determine distance and a Tachymeter to measure speed. This re-issue model was made from the late 90's to 2006 in a limited run of 600, As confirmed by Hanhart this specific watch was made in February of 1999 and has a very low serial number. Stainless Steel 40mm Case with a rotating fluted bezel with red marker. Asymmetrical layout of pushers. Sapphire Crystal with anti-reflective coating. Water Resistance 100m (10ATM). Automatic Movement, self-Winding. German made. Black dial with Arabic numerals. LumiNova coated hour and minute hands. Small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock and 30 minute counter at 3 o'clock. Red Telemeter at outer perimeter and an inner red Tachymeter.Original riveted black calfskin strap. Total length, including watch case, 9 1/4 inch. The, in like new condition, watch was only worn a few times and there is not any visible damage to case or strap, as shown in the attached photos. I do not have the original case or paperwork. I guarantee the authenticity of the watch as I bought it myself years and years ago for my own collection, which I'm now dissolving. Please also see my other listings.
