Description: Title: Antique Lantern Description: Presented for your consideration is this neat EARLY antique fixed globe lantern. Possibly an early railroad lantern, it has a metal top and bottom with ventilation holes shaped like stars and diamonds. It is finished with a swinging handle and a clear glass fixed globe. The bottom has 2 tabs that press in to release the oil/kerosene font. There are no markings on the adjusting knob. This neat lantern would make a nice addition to any lamp, lighting or railroad collection! One release tab is loose and needs to be repaired. Some light bending is around the bottom edge. Some oxidation is on the font and around the bottom. Typical wear from age and use. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the best details.
