Description: The legs of the tongs are reticulated with bell flowers and end with shell tips. A vine with leaves and berries are engraved near the yoke which has been reinforced on the insides. Three letter square monogram- I F E. The only marks are the turned face Lion Passant and maker TW which appears to be for Thomas Wallis working last quarter of 18th century, no city or date mark.
