Description: Early Creamware Coffee Pot This pretty coffee pot is probably by the Leeds Pottery which dates it to 1780 or so. Twisted rope handle and ornate terminals were the hallmark of Leeds style. Unmarked. 18th Century. Approx. 10"H X 8.5"W. Provenance: Prominent private collection, Exhibited at the Antique Dealers Fair and Exhibition, London, 1949 where it appears it was purchased for 6 pds.l Condition: Wear to edges, hairline to edge, assembled lid, otherwise minor imperfections to be expected.
