Description: It is difficult to photograph ruby stained glass. In this case, it looks better in person than in my pictures. I've done a lot of research on this souvenir. I've determined it is from the Hotel Adirondack on Long Lake, New York. My reasoning is, there were many period hotels in the Adirondacks. The only postcards I can find that say " Hotel Adirondack" are the Long Lake ones. The rest say Adirondack Hotel. Early 20th Century souvenir sharker from the "Hotel Adirondack". It is about 1 5/8" wide x 3" high. It is in very good condition. There is no major damage. There is some light but noticeable surface wear commensurate with age. The caption is strong and completely legible. There is a small chip under the lid (see pictures #5 & #6). The lid fits nice and snug. There is no indication it ever held salt. This is a hard-to-find piece that displays very well. Regarding combined shipping. In most cases, several pieces can be shipped in a single box. When this occurs, I will credit the purchaser's account any shipping difference. In-other-words, I charge exact shipping for same time multiple purchases. I cannot issue these credits until I've purchased the postage so it may take a day or two. I do this often. I have never had a discrepancy complaint. My customers are in very good hands.
