They were hand made and hand carved from solid rosewood with burl wood insert on the center of backrest. Very heavy and sturdy. It features hand carved wood works of traditional Chinese folks art - Cymbals on the top of the top of the backrest and Dragons on the armrest and back. Look at the pictures, some of the age wears here and there but overall they are in very good vintage condition. This set include two armchairs and one table at center. They will be the wonderful collection and functional room furniture in your house.The chairs come with the optional free used Chinese decorative cushion which has some wears.
