Description: Bust of Torquato Tasso. From the 1930’s. Made in Italy. Highly detailed Porcelain. Looks like Alabaster. 6 1/2” tall. At the shoulders (widest) 3 3/4”. Base is 2 2/8” radius. In excellent condition. No damage. Born in Sorrento, Naples in 1544 died 1595. Famous poet. Known for his poem: Gerusalemme Liberata. (Jerusalem delivered) Last picture is a painting of him at age 22.
