Description: This exquisite antique pottery bowl hails from the early 19th century ca. 1825, and is a testament to the intricate craftsmanship of the Yoshidaya Kiln. The Kutani style of this Japanese bowl showcases a beautiful blend of vibrant colors, dark blue, yellow, deep green, and purple. With each brushstroke, this bowl was meticulously hand-painted to create this stunning piece of art. The pottery used in this piece is of top-notch quality, and it is evident in the durability of the bowl. This antique original is a true collector's item and will make a great stand-out addition to any Asian antiques collection. **THIS IS a very valuable bowl. I bought it at an estate sale, and I got it for a good price. I am trying to pass on some savings with my opening bid. The bowl has been taken care of with love. No nicks, chips or cracks to the pottery itself. There are a few tiny paint nicks around the top rim. Enlarged pictures taken. The bowl is not perfectly round due to being hand thrown. No scratches or gouges. No stains or discoloration. No glued repairs or restoration. It measures approximately 6 7/8" in diameter and approximately 2 7/8" in height.
