Description: Bryce, Walker & Co. of Pittsburg, PA patented the Maltese pattern, commonly known as Jacob’s Latter, in 1876. Other glass manufacturers, throughout the late 1800s, produced the Maltese pattern until it was renamed “Imperial” in 1902 by US Glass. The pattern features a combination of vertical diamond rows separated by horizontal “Ladder” panels. This nice Maltese creamer measures about 6 ¼” high at the spout, 5 ¾” from the handle to the tip of the spout, and sits on a 3” diameter footed base. It is in excellent condition with no chips or nicks, only very minor and common production flaws. This is a beautiful EAPG creamer and a great item to add to your collection.
