Description: Offered for your consideration is a lovely clear glass bowl with scalloped rim made by the John B. Higbee Glass Company (1907-1918) in their "Fortuna" pattern. Also known as "Perkins", this pattern was introduced in 1913. This bowl features a authentic but weak H-I-G Bee mark. The bowl measures 8 inches (20.3 cm) in diameter and is 3.25 inches (8.3 cm) tall. This heavy bowl is in excellent used condition with no cracks, chips, noticeable scratches, roughness, nor repairs. Bowl is used so there may be very faint surface scratches, minimal wear, or other signs of use. See photos.The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There are bubbles within the glass, a shear (straw) mark inside bowl, and there may be additional minor imperfections due to the manufacturing process used at the time.
