Description: Offered for your consideration is a 10-inch clear glass plate or shallow bowl made by Bryce, Higbee and Company (1879-1907) in their "Charm" pattern. Also known as "Rosette and Palms", this pattern was introduced in 1895. This item appears to be the bowl portion of a shallow compote which never had a stem/standard applied. The plate measures 10 inches (25.4 cm) in diameter and is just over 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) tall. This plate or bowl is being sold "as is" due to a chipped scallop at rim and some light surface scratches. No cracks, additional roughness, nor repairs. Plate is used so there may be minor wear or additional indications of use. See photos. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present. There are small bubbles within the glass, and there may be shear (straw) marks and other minor imperfections due to the glass making process used at the time. Plate will be shipped from a smoke free home and will be packed securely for shipping. Good luck and thank you for your interest.
