Extrusion equipment (Injection Molding Machines Blow Molding lines and Extruders) operate on drag-flow, where the material sticks to the barrel wall, and is moved forward (dragged) by the feed screw, creating an accumulation layer on the metal surfaces that needs to be cleaned out for color and resin changes.We attack the accumulation layer with an engineered particle that scrapes the polymer on the metal surfaces. As this particle breaks down it reveals new edges to keep attacking the buildup. It is too brittle to attack the metal surfaces but is very good at attacking polymer buildup. 50 (1 oz packets).
