Description: Behold, a limited edition copy of 'The White House Years: Mandate for Change 1953-1956, by President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Doubleday, hardback with protective plastic sleeve, as well as a sturdy cardboard slipcase. Signed by the President. Limited edition run of 1500, and this is #414. The book: this was likely purchased and put on a high shelf. There is the smallest bit of fraying at the very top of the spine. No tears, no writing, no stray dirt, etc. The jacket: there is a tiny tear at the top of the plastic spine (corresponding to where the fraying is), probably half an inch, that was repared with tape. This did not impact the book spine. The slipcase: there is some rubbing on the front of the slipcase title sheet. Small bump at the top, corresponding to the slipcase tear. The box is sturdy and there is no other evidence of damage, no fraying, edgewear. Beautiful collector's item. More pics available on request. I will ship priority and insured (included in the price).
