Description: This example is in the New Standish pattern, which Durgin introduced in 1905. Durgin was subsequently purchased by Gorham (a lengthy process beginning in 1905 and culminating in 1924). These pieces have the script "D", meaning they have the oldest hallmark. Note: you are purchasing ONE piece only unless you change the quantity in the selection box above (subject to prior sale). Three of the spoons are dated December 25th, the last dated May 22nd. Subject to prior sale and request, in the absence of request for a specific date, the December 25th spoons will be sold first. Once someone requests the May date, if other spoons remain, this text will be modified to remove that option from subsequent purchases. Stowell & Co. {retailer's name}". Condition: Excellent giftable condition. "AEJ" monogram on top and 1914 engraved date on underside of handle. No reportable issues, such as nicks, dents, pings, dings, bashes, unusual scratches, bends, monogram removals, or other blemishes. Faint surface abrasions create patina consistent with age and use.
