Description: Please read the entire description and ask questions, if necessary, before purchasing. Refer to the photographs for the colors of this gorgeous vessel, (which I believe are true to the colors on the vessel—but we know that monitors may display colors differently). The top portion of the vessel is glazed in a matt beige with darker speckles. The bottom of the vessel is a shiny dark brown glaze. The bottom is marked with the Dumler & Breiden crossed swords makers mark and the mold number and size (262/14). This jug could be dated anywhere between 1958 (when D&B began using this specific crossed sword symbol) to 1979, as the Dumler & Breiden company began spelling out their name in the 1980s. However, the colors and style of this jug seem like the 1970s to me. I carefully examined this vessel and found no cracks, chips, or crazing. The vessel is vintage, and as such, has been used. Any white spots that may look like chips are simply light reflections or speckles in the glaze. Height: 5.5 inches Width at widest point: 4.25 inches Circumference at widest point: 15 inches Mouth: 2 inches across One of the photographs features a clementine alongside the vase for size comparison. This vase came from a German thrift store. I examine my vintage items carefully and do my best to highlight any wear in my description and photographs. Please contact me if you have any questions prior to purchase. I ship by USPS.
