Description: Dudson Brothers Hanley Vintage Jasperware Teapot w/Grecian Dancers - Rare Brown=======================Hard-to-find antique Dudson Brothers brown and white Jasperware teapot. Featuring a glossy brown background with a neoclassical white bas-relief of Grecian dancers. The lid is decorated with a white band of intricate florals. Measures 5-1/4" high, 8-3/4" wide, and 5-1/2" diameter. The bottom of the lid is stamped with the impressed mark "Dudson Bros., Hanley, England". There are also some feint impressed markings on the bottom rim of the teapot. A sticker on the bottom (from a previous owner) reads "1910?". Excellent gently used condition. No cracks or stains. One small chip on under side of lid. See pics. =================Although Jasperware was best known as being made at the Wedgwood factory several other English companies produced their version of the popular Jasperware items including Dudson Brothers.
