Description: This is a Limited Edition Etching made by Mike Stidham for Ducks Unlimited. It is numbered 619/1000 and signed by the artist. It is framed and double matted as the photos show. The etching size inside the mat board is 17 inches wide and 18 inches high. The etching was made with copper plates which are inked and pressed into the art paper. The image is then hand painted by the artist with aqua tint water color so that, while the etchings are all similar, each one is slightly different unlike a limited edition print series. The framed print weighs about 7.5 pounds. Mike Stidham is a very well known Utah wildlife artist. His etchings were done earlier in his career and our best guess is that this series was done in the 1980's. They would have been sold at Ducks Unlimited fundraising events and auctions, raising thousands of dollars for wildlife habitat. We have loved Mr. Stidham's work for many years but had this extra one so here it is. Both the frame and etching appear to be without damage or fading. The paper backing appears to be original and also is in excellent condition. We invite your inspection. The original edition sold out many years ago and they are not easy to find as owners just do not part with them. We will ship it very reasonably and well packaged to arrive safely within the U.S.
