Schafer, and Mark A. Yoder. This is the first edition of this book. The second edition is readily available but it is pricier than this. Other listings that I see for copies of this edition don't address whether or not the CD is included. The CD is included in this listing and I have tested it and shown that it is readable (came up fine on my external drive for my Windows 10 laptop). About the CD I checked many of the files on the CD and they come up nicely on my Windows 10 laptop. However, for MATLAB demos and labs, MATLAB is required (it is not provided). I wouldn't count on being able to get the demos & labs running (unless you have a machine running the period OS, utilities, and MATLAB) but, maybe ... The readme file indicates that some of the more demanding demos won't run on the MATLAB student edition (v 4.2 & 5.0).
