Description: Various – 25 Years Of Recorded Sound from the Vaults of M-G-M Records (1945-1970) Jazz Film Soundtracks 2-LP (1979) Superb US-only import double album. Featuring songs by Frankie Valli, John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John and Sha-Na-Na. Each band of this carefully engineered recording was made from the original metal stampers or master tapes which are still preserved by Polydor Incorporated in the vaults of M-G-M Records, the company that originally brought both the original soundtrack album and film stars to the phonographic art form. Condition Vinyls: EX. Superbly clean on visual inspection. No obvious signs of marks, scuffs or scratches. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is excellent. Run-ins are clean. Very crisp sound. No skipping, jumping or sticking. A fantastic listening experience. Outer sleeve (cover): G-VG. Colours are bright, unfaded and clean. Front has disc ring outline with creases in from all sides. Scuffing and creasing most obvious on spine edge. Corners quite badly worn, some buckled. Aperture lightly nicked with some peeling. Bottom edge quite badly scuffed but top edge in better shape. Spine slightly split with creasing in places. Outer back cover disc ring outline visible with scuffing and creasing round edges. Inner gatefold colour photo is superb with no obvious marks or defects. Fabulous overall. Inner Sleeves: EX. Original. White paper with central hole and square corners. Minor creases/folds through normal handling. Tracklist Record 1 A1. The Conrad Salinger Orchestra, Cond. Buddy Bregman - The Trolley Song (From "Meet Me In St. Louis") - Martin, Blane A2.
