Each player chooses a side, gathers miniature troops and takes the lead against other players in story-driven skirmish battles. The terrain setting as well as the victory conditions are laid out by a battle scenario all players agree upon. The fate of warriors is determined through combat rules and some rolls of dice. As a war leader, you'll need tactical insight - and a bit of luck - to win! The Dwarves of Drakerys form a rich and solid people. They give more importance to the species than to culture. A Dwarf welcomes another Dwarf like their own brother, whatever their home country is. They originally came from the Kingdom of Lonemashan, a land full of great plains, mountain ranges and impenetrable forests. Curious and diplomatic by nature, the Dwarves quickly left their borders to settle in every country they could. They fit in very quickly and their taste for hard work is legendary. The Dwarves like engineering, and particularly anything to do with metalworking. Their weapons, armours and chariots are highly desired by many kings! The Aurium army relies on order and discipline. Their leaders excels in their chosen field of expertise. Some of them are magicians practicing a white kind of necromancy, while others are prime tacticians. The rarest, however, are skilled assassins and can kill the opposite chain command in many ways, leading to a shameful defeat.Lictors are the troops the Aurium send to their indelicate customers, the ones to keep convoys and escorts the Dwarf caste's nobles. They're nice and professional until their boss says "kill". Then it's still profesisonal, but not nice anymore. Not at all. Here are the tanks. Sporting heavy armors, and elite weapons, the Aurium Enforcers are not the quickest, but they are neasrly unstoppable, especially if their Soldier brethren are around to take care of the rabble.
