Beautifully detailed, this dragon seems to magically fly on outstretched wings. Weight being of primary concern, the artist chooses to make the dragon of lightweight Borosilicate Crystal which has virtually the same reflective qualities of uncut full lead crystal at a fraction of the weight. After making the figurine entirely by hand, the artist then enhances the details with 24k gold. The brilliant rainbow of colors is created when pure gold is applied to the glass while it is still molten. Total height is 12 inches. Dragon is 9 inches long and 6.5 inches tall.
