Description: 12 UNPAINTED O Scale Trash Cans. Cast hydrocal. Simply prime with spray paint & then paint with water based acrylic paints. Here's how I painted some similar castings. Again, the ones you get are UNPAINTED. I started by spray painting the trash cans primer gray followed by a mist of metallic silver. Let dry.Next I added some color to the trash/junk in the boxes using various acrylic paints. I didn't go overboard & paint every bit of the junk, just enough to break it up.I used a flat, wide brush & just sort of hit the high points on the castings to make the details pop out. I added a couple signs and they're ready to add to a layout.
