Description: Down And Out In Paris And London By George Orwell First Edition 1933. Cloth covered boards with age wear particularly along the edges, which have a little grazing. There are some scratches to the front and back boards, some denting at the corners and at the top and bottom of the spine, and there is a small piece missing from the cover at the bottom of the spine of approximately 1 to 1 1/2 cm² squared, see photo. There is also a small tear at the bottom of the spine which extends up by approximately 1 cm.There is a lean and slight twist on the spine, see photo. All pages have some light foxing particularly the first and last flysheets. Some pages have some light smudging, page 125 has two red smudge marks beneath the page number, see photo for detail.There are some small watermarks along the top of the front fly sheet and down along the spine extending 3 to 4 cm.. Some hinges are a little loose but the book is still firmly bound. All pages are clean enough for text to be clear. Overall a beautiful book in good condition.
