Description: Just a bit of history first. The Good Grape Co. was founded in 1922 by two former Chero-Cola employees. One of the employees, Charles Little, in 1924, formulated a cola for the new company they started. It was called Marvel Cola. Soon, the formula was re-formulated and named Jumbo Cola. At that time, the name of the company also changed to the Seminole Flavor Company. The Double Cola brand was started in 1933. So named because of its larger bottle size, compared to the competition. During WWII, Seminole Flavor Co. and its competitors, had trouble with soda production. Little made the cola his mainstay. He had a chance to buy the faltering Pepsi:Cola brand, but decided to decline, and keep on with his brand of cola. In 1953, the name of the Seminole Flavor Company was changed to Double Cola. This bottle is a large 10 oz. size. It features the bright iconic ACL labels that Double Cola is known for. It has a crown cap. The bottle is 9 1/2" tall. This bottle is in like new condition. The graphics are perfect, there is absolutely no case wear, no chips or cracks can be seen. This bottle has a nice "Double Cola" crown cap. Shipping for this bottle will be only $9.00 anywhere in the U.S. for 2-4 day Priority mail.
