Description: This is a rare June 1st, 1954 programme (playbill) from the three-week, Bristol Old Vic Company Pre-London tryout and WORLD PREMIERE engagement of the DOROTHY REYNOLDS and JULIAN SLADE musical comedy "SALAD DAYS" at the Theatre Royal in Bristol, England. (The Original West End production would open August 5th, 1954 at the Vaudeville Theatre in London and run for 2283 performances, becoming the longest running West End musical at that time. An Off-Broadway production opened November 10th, 1958 at the Barbizon-Plaza Theatre in New York City and ran for only 80 performances.) .....
