Description: A 1989 Postmodern platter designed by American artist Dorothy Hafner (born 1952). The platter features an abstract harlequin, halftone grid, and striped design to the center in peach, lavender, black, white, and teal. The platter is marked "Dorothy Hafner '89" on the underside. Ceramist and glass artist Dorothy Hafner completed her graduate work at Skidmore College in 1974. She has designed tableware for Tiffany & Co., Neiman Marcus, and Rosenthal. Two of Hafner's works are featured at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Measurements:12.25” W x 1” H x 12.25” D.Condition:Small dimple on the underside.
