Description: For auction is an etching by Don Swann of the Lincoln Memorial. It is Pencil Signed. this series was produced for the 1974 Republican National Assembly. Pencil signed in the lower right and in the lower left corner it is numbered "616/1500 Special Edition for Republican National Assembly 1974" The etching image size is 6 5/8th X 7 3/4ths. The matted size is 16" X 12". Included is a note from David K Wilson Chairman of the Republican National Finance Committee. It reads, " In appreciation for your loyal support David K. Wilson". Don Swann (1889 - 1954) was an artist who documented structures around the Baltimore and Washington D. C. area. This was reprinted by his son using the original plate, for the RNC in 1974. There are a couple "wrinkles in the matte. I tried to get a picture of the most obvious. Please ask questions before bidding.
