Description: Dollhouse Miniature 1” Scale Shaker Room Box by Ken Byers19" wide by 9 1/2" tall by 9 1/2": deepWe have always admired the Shaker furniture and have visited several sites, so in 2004 we asked Ken Byer to create a room box for us. All of the furniture and cabinets are by Ken. We asked him to make a unique kitchen table which was not one of his normal pieces. This vintage box is constructed of pine wood with dovetail corners. Newer model are constructed of birch plywood. The hand hewed beam ceiling has a cut out for more viewing, lightly textured walls, and aged finished flooring. .It has an acrylic cover over the front and top with a 110 volt bulb in the rear to back light the windows. The top being open provides good lighting. All furnishings as shown are included: Shaker stove, corner cabinet, trestle table, infirmary bench, herb chest, 3 chairs, wood box, hanging mirror, hanging cabinet, 2 candle sconces, broom, stocking stretchers, 3 oval boxes, and more.The scenes in the window are from photographs that we took at the Shaker Village in Pleasant Hill, KY.
