However, once a guitar is in the hands of a shipping company, things can move around, so with any online guitar purchase, please be prepared to make adjustments or have them made professionally once the guitar arrives.Having owned and recorded with 3 separate Kramer "American" Sustainer models, I grew attached to the accessible body shape & size, but wasn't crazy about the idea that the sustainer system could fail at any moment, without direct replacement parts available. Noting that the Jackson DK2S used a nearly identical body size & shape (with Jackson having been rumored at the time to have been the source of Kramer's Sustainer bodies), I acquired a DK2S, Kramer F-style neck plate, and 24-fret MusicYo maple neck, and built this guitar. It features a modern Sustainiac in the bridge position, and a Gotoh 1996T tremolo w/ Tone Vice Pitch Shifter.The sustainer unit works exactly as advertised, and there are no dents or chips anywhere to be found. The Kramer neck is carefully aligned, and I can find no flaws with the guitar at all besides the type of cleaning marks you'll find on almost any guitar.The guitar has been set up and strung with Ernie Ball M-Steel strings (which the Sustainiac unit LOVES), and will be shipped in the Kramer hard case with only what is shown in the pictures.
