Description: This 26 inch saw has a Disston medallion from the 50's and a light Challenger etch made more difficult to see due to a waxy coating on the blade. It is bowed three ways so maybe someone tried to push it through wood with the coating. I'm sure it will clean off with mineral spirits but left it as a preservative. These retro looking 50's saws are not super common in plastic like this, it is a different material than my D-18 but appears to be as sturdy and maintains a glossy look.
