It comes with its original box and a Harmony Kingdom booklet. It was part of a LIMITED EDITION of only 500 pieces made and sold through The Art of Disney. This is a large and very cool figurine, featuring so many characters from the classic FANTASIA movie. The sculpture explodes with action as all the characters emerge from the center of the piece, which is overpowered by Chernabog from the "Night on Bald Mountain" sequence. Also filling out the cast of characters are Sorcerer Mickey, Pegasus, Hyacinth Hippo and Ben Ali Gator, Yen Sid, dancing Brooms, and dancing mushrooms. I love how Yen Sid the Wizard has his eye on Mickey Mouse. When you lift Chernabog up and off the sculpture, you will find a secret compartment with the Sorceror's Hat carved into the bottom. Chernabog has a brilliant yellow fire eminating from the bottom of his physique that matches the yellow on the outside of the box, so it really looks like he is coming out of the fire. Very cool. Especially for anyone who loves Chernabog. (And we know you do!) This sculpture was displayed for a short period of time, and then packaged up in its box and stored in a closet with other HK boxes. It is in excellent condition and would make a great addition to anyone's Disney collection. Here's a little about Fantasia from Wikipedia: Fantasia is a 1940 American animated musical anthology film produced by Walt Disney Productions, with story direction by Joe Grant and Dick Huemer and production supervision by Walt Disney and Ben Sharpsteen. It consists of eight animated segments set to pieces of classical music conducted by Leopold Stokowski, seven of which are performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra. Music critic and composer Deems Taylor acts as the film's Master of Ceremonies who introduces each segment in live action. Disney settled on the film's concept in 1938 as work neared completion on The Sorcerer's Apprentice, originally an elaborate Silly Symphony cartoon designed as a comeback role for Mickey Mouse, who had declined in popularity. As production costs surpassed what the short could earn, Disney decided to include it in a feature-length film of multiple segments set to classical pieces with Stokowski and Taylor as collaborators. The soundtrack was recorded using multiple audio channels and reproduced with Fantasound, a pioneering sound system developed by Disney and RCA that made Fantasia the first commercial film shown in stereo and a precursor to surround sound. The whimsical animals of the Treasure Jest series, the beautiful blooms of Harmony Garden, and the entire Harmony Kingdom range all display the attention to detail and quirky sense of humor for which Harmony Kingdom's artists are known. In August, 1997, the first Disney-themed Harmony Kingdom was released, entitled "Pooh and Friends." They were first only available through the Disney Theme Parks (Walt Disney World, Disneyland and Tokyo Disney).
