Description: Unbeknownst to many, this is perhaps our most accurate Dinosaur Bones shirt design for the exact reason that this shirt's bones were printed to GLOW IN THE DARK. For those deeply involved in the field of Paleontology, this might be welcomed, but for most, this highly controversial view may be your first exposure to the ongoing and fierce debate. First theorized by Dr. Victor Von Pearlman of the S.W. Underbelly Institute of Stoney Brook, NY, he proposed that due to the warmer temperatures of the world-wide tropical climate at the time, an ongoing bloom (which lasted over 125 million years) of microscopic bio-luminescent phytoplankton resulted in a very different look to the world, most notably at night. As part of the water cycle of evaporation and condensation, the prevalence of these glowing micro-organisms resulted in a weird glowing landscape at night, as moisture in the atmosphere would deposit this luminescent coating over all plants, animals, and the land itself, as the dew settled. As a result of such massive ingestion of these glowing organisms, even among plant-eating species, the result was that the bio-luminescent chemicals were absorbed by the bones of these creatures so, even long after death and even fossilization, their bones actually GLOWED IN THE DARK! His research revealed that this gradually faded away after some 60 million years, meaning we JUST missed our chance (by only a few million years) to observe this directly. It should be noted that this view was initially scoffed at by most, yet still had to be seriously considered as the result Dr. Pearlman's highly respected research on the most complete, known specimen of Cultösaurus Erectus, first discovered by him, on the grounds of where his home-base and supporting Institute now resides, on Long Island. The only other known example of C. Erectus, was discovered in Oaxaca, Mexico. A rival group of researchers from the nearby Stalk Forest Institute, headed by Dr.'s E. Bloom, A Bouchard, J. Bouchard, A. Lanier, and D. B. D. Roeser, set out to disprove Dr. Pearlmen's ground-breaking research but, as a result of their own investigations, surprisingly ended up supporting all of Dr. Pearlmen's theories! The Stalk Forest Institute, located near Oyster Bay, also on Long Island, NY, has had its own bit of fame and recognition for their work on the Horn-swooped Bungo Pony which, once the former rivals began to collaborate with ongoing research, was found to be a distant relative of C. Erectus. In spite of repeated submissions, the dominant, peer-reviewed journal, NATURE, has not acknowledged receipt of any of these papers so, as a result, most scientists continue to stay silent on this matter. Stay tuned... Trying to make some room in our warehouse! Up for sale is a Dinosaur Bones shirt, covered front and back, with enough different species' skeletons to put any Dino-fanatic into a state of extinct reptilian euphoria, and that's even BEFORE you realize the bones were printed with GLOW IN THE DARK ink. Proving once again that our customers are "unique" (not to mention, THE BEST!), this had been our best selling Dino-shirt design until the printer stopped printing them in adult sizes and switched to KID SIZES ONLY...where it has been a total bomb for us, but a huge success for everyone else selling it. Go figure! We even tried to carry these in KID SIZE LARGE once we sold out of ADULT SMALL (I think we still have one left somewhere...we'll see.) Once we sold out of ADULT SMALL and 2XL, it was time to find a new design and these got packed away...until now. We just found what was left of them, again, and this is ALL that are left! These are BRAND NEW, FIRST QUALITY, preshrunk 100% cotton shirts, available in size MEDIUM, LARGE, and/or XL. These are original, multi-color (and don't forget, GLOWING) designs, screen-printed onto top quality ALORE, HANES, or "other" COTTON shirts for durability and long life...this is NOT some cheap iron-on design. Suggested to sell for $26.00 and up (plus postage), I am offering these for $25.00 each, which includes free shipping to anywhere in the U.S. You can combine this with other items that I am selling to receive a refund for each additional item after the first, once shipped. This refund reflects my savings in postage fees by combining your orders and is based on the total weight of the items. International buyers are eligible for the multi-item discount (WHEN YOU USE THE SHOPPING CART FEATURE AND PAY FOR ALL OF YOUR ITEMS IN A SINGLE PAYMENT!) and receive free shipping to the Global Shipping Program Center in Kentucky, USA, but are responsible for all additional fees for postage, customs, tariffs, and/or other import charges.
