Size: These comics are approximately four newspaper columns across, or about 25 x 7.9 cm (about 9.8 x 3.1 inches) including margins. The exact size varies depending on the margin. Condition Here are some general condition notes for this set of comics: There might be a few small tears around the edges of some dates (in margins). These comics are old and tanned, but can be handled with ease. Some dates might be more tanned than others or more tanned along one or more sides. The newspaper did not normally print dates on the comics. The bottom appears to be routed off sometimes (signature sometimes partially cut off). There are indications the comic might have been routed a bit on the left or right side as well. After the first few months, there is often little or no margins on the sides. The left side margin is often missing. Sometimes a few little chips of the comics might be missing as well. We also made some notes of some date specific issues (we tried to avoid making too many notes, and instead preferred to go the generalized condition notes above).
