Description: About the item: Measuring approximately 11 by 17 inches, this preliminary cover sketch features the pencils of Dick Giordano. It is a preliminary cover to one of DC's Romance comics (not sure if this story was ever published, however). Includes a smaller preliminary sketch on top of the 7-page typed script (with hand-made notes/corrections). The script and smaller prelim are stapled to the 11x17 page. Has some wear but not beat up, it will be shipped with the utmost care. Scans include the 11x17 inch page with the script lifted up to show the details, the page with the script intact (with the rough prelim draft on top), and the first page of the 7-page script). Given the style of the DC bullet logo, the piece appears to be from mid to late 60's, possibly very early 70's. Please note- the two pieces of art are actual, original pieces illustrated by hand by Giordano. They are not copies, prints or pre-printed images.
