Description: Fantastic ink drawling of demons or devils in a tavern. The drawing measures 7.75”x6.5” and comes matted to 8”x10”. The drawing has tanning with age and is very old — Looks to me like it could be from the 1700’s…but I’m not an expert in this area and just loved the image. I bought it years ago at the famed Argosy Book store in NYC which had just acquired a large collection of drawings and vintage illustration art. and I discovered this one hidden in the stack. I’m downsizing my collection of original art, sketches, doodles and illustrations so please check out my other auctions. Sold as is.
