Description: Desert Sands Pottery is known for its deft use of different clays to make marbleized swirls of color in their pieces. This ashtray is 4" in diameter and is like new condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. I do not know its age. It may be small but can function in many ways; an ashtray as intended originally but likewise for other combustibles such as cone incense, tea light or votive candles. Next to a sink or on a dresser, it could hold rings and other small pieces safely. Questions are quickly and cheerfully answered.
